Garnet was a very unique person and any one who met him will forever remember his deep resonate voice and formidable stature. He touched so many people with his random acts of kindness that was second nature to him.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He played hockey in his younger years but baseball was his game of passion.
He was never very good with names which is why most he knew had nicknames. For those that he couldn't remember he referred to as Dear or Darling or Bud.
Garnet was a very passionate kindhearted man. He never failed to express his love of family and friends We were told and shown every day how much he loved us.
He was the most honest man I have every known. You knew exactly where you stood (good or bad) in his life.
He will forever be remembered for those huge bear hugs that made you feel loved and protected.
