Jason and Jeff . I was near your parents when you both were born. You Dad was a devoted father from day one and along with your Mom , shared each stepping stone of your lives with love. Jason, he loved being a grandfather and along with “sal “”, your Mom , made me feel as If I knew Jack and Maggie, through phone calls and pictures, I felt the absolute joy they had! Jeff, I knew your Dad well enough to know he too would have cherished your child, Blair. He was a hard worker, never gave up when things may be tough. He loved Florida, boating , and family times. May fond memories help ease your grief. Dawn Tait (Corbett)

I will always recall lunchtime cribbage games, especially the last 2 years of high school. I was a late comer to Simonds, where my dad coached Jerry on our swim team. I later lived in Richmond Hill & knew Port Perry. I attended a few reunions & always looked for & missed Jerry. Now he will remain in my heart as a 17 year old pal.
Sincere sympathy to his family, Elizabeth (MacLean) Webb

I am so sorry to learn of Jerry's passing. We go back together to Glen Falls School in the mid-1950s and all through high school at Simonds, and I knew Sally at least that long through Exmouth St. Church. The last time I saw Jerry was in Saint John when his mum died, and I went to the funeral home visitation. He made sure to introduce me as one of his pals from the Glen, to his sons, and his pride in his boys shone through his eyes and in his smile! Rest peacefully.
I am extending sympathies as well on behalf of our Simonds Class of '61. Jerry was a well-liked classmate and will be missed.
