Fond memories of dear Hazel. My Dads first cousin (Leonard Arms) from Walsall, England UK. She welcomed me (Julie) my 2 Sons Bradley and Curtis open heartily to her home in Oshawa back in 2005. What an amazing Lady. Feel very sad that another link of our family chain has passed. Memories are forever. Julie x

Kim Draper

Auntie Hazel hasn't changed a bit. This picture looks just like I remember from my childhood. My heartfelt condolences to the family. I'm left with fond memories of Patricia Avenue, the fun we all had and a wooden spoon. Blessings, Kim (Rasksen) Draper.

Thought of Auntie Hazel often. She was a large part of the Patricia Street medley of kids! Loved and cautious on report card day. That wooden spoon (never even made it to her hand) was her wand of love.

Our heartfelt condolences to the entire family on the passing of Hazel. She truly was a trailblazer in sharing her love of travel and always inspired me by not letting "age" get in the way of exploration. Her keen mind and ability to share her travel itineraries in great detail always amazed me. She was generous and loved her family - and received that love back in return. She left me with a great appreciation that life is meant to be lived with every sense of adventure and that we must never stop learning and exploring - until our body tells us it is time to rest. May she RIP and my wish for the family is to keep her in your heart and allow her life to inspire you. Your legacy is every life you touch. Maya Angelou (I trust my Linda would approve of this one)!

Love Bonnie (Terry and entire Grogan family) and Sheila Hill.
