Gloria Shirley Marie Gray (Lane) August 22, 1937 – July 1, 2019 – Peacefully passed away at Bowmanville Hospital on Monday, July 1, 2019 with her family by her side at the age of 81 after a brief illness.

James Morgan

I'm so sad to discover this. Mrs. Gray was one of a kind. My family knew here from attending St. Saviour's church from 1988 to 1990. She and Mr. Gray were wonderfully welcoming people who made our years there very special. I remember some fine dinners, both at church events and their house, and fun in their backyard pool. I remember her love for the Blue Jays and quick sense of humour too. James Morgan, Grenville, Québec

I was so sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. She was a good welcoming friend when I started teaching at the old Newcastle school. We were across the hall from each other. She was always supportive and we shared many laughs together in the teeny staff room. Ruthe Colville
