Obituary

Obituary for Laurence David Manning

In loving memory of Laurence David Manning
who passed away May 6th, 2019

You became a part of our family many, many years ago
you played the part of Father and Grandad
and your influence will always show

Although you were getting weaker
you still tried to do your best
but God said, “You are weary, It’s time for you to rest”

You had many mountains you conquered
as your body took it’s toll
your strength was to be admired
you’ll remain in our hearts, mind and soul

Our family would like to thank the first responders
for their diligent efforts, also all hospital staff at Cobourg Hospital
his home care and all of his neighbours for their caring and kindness

Sadly missed by his step children Susan, Stephanie, Sharon, Karl, and their families
And his loving sisters in England, Cynthia and Delia and their extended family

THERE WILL BE A CELEBRATION OF LIFE ON SUNDAY JUNE 2ND 2019 FROM 1-4PM AT THE PORT HOPE LEGION

Honoring A Life: A Thoughtful Gesture with Global Benefits

Memorial Trees by Honoring A Life

When you choose to have a memorial tree planted for your loved one, you are doing more than simply putting a plant in the ground. You are making a long-term commitment to the environment, and implanting the memories of your loved one in our planet for countless years to come. A memorial tree is a unique tribute that provides global benefits like no other gift could.

What You Receive:
  • A memorial tree planted in the area of greatest need, according to the planting schedule of the American Forests Organization and the Canadian Institute of Forestry.
  • A memorial card to be sent to your home or a person of your choosing which demonstrates the gift you have given.
  • Your name and message listed in this online memorial, and on the honoringalife.org website. (See sample memorial)
