Passed away peacefully at Lakeshore Lodge on Saturday, May 4th, 2019 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late William Franklin. Loving mother of Cyndy (Frank) and Terry (Sherry). Devoted grandma of Amanda, Alyssa and Alexandra. Greatly missed by her dear sister Chris and brother Dave and predeceased by brothers Matt, John, George and Miro and sisters Pearl and Marion. Patricia will be remembered by all of her nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Born in Wakaw, SK., raised on a farm and one of nine children. She always had a tender spot in her heart of growing up on the farm. Patricia had a passion and flair for baking, cooking, and crafts. She loved experimenting to creating something new. Her strong desire helping others did not go unnoticed as she received an award for being a devoted volunteer from the Mayor of Toronto. Patricia always put efforts in to be sure she looked her best and yet always made sure she had fun. She had put efforts to making everyone know she was in control of herself. Even during her last days she still was able to express herself however there was a real tender and silly side of her that would also make you smile. Thanking everyone at Lakeshore Lodge who were part of Patricia’s care for their compassion and support. Your efforts did not go unnoticed. Cremation is taking place and Celebration of Life will be taking place in the summer. Exact dates and times to follow at a later time. Donations to a charity of your choice in Patricia’s name would be most grateful.
