EDDY, John passed peacefully with family by his side on August 8th, 2018 at Fosterbrooke Long Term Care at the age of 79. Much loved father, poppy, uncle, brother and friend to many. Born in Hickmans Harbour, Newfoundland in 1938. Remembered fondly for his sense of humour and for never losing his Newfie heritage.
A celebration of John’s life will be held at NEWCASTLE FUNERAL HOME on Sunday August 19th from 2:00 – 5:00 PM. With a memorial service taking place at 3:00 P.M.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff of Pine Villa (Toronto) as well as Fosterbrooke LTC.
If so desired donations may be made to Fosterbrooke Long Term Care Facility through Newcastle Funeral Home ( by cheque ).
