Condolence: Nana was a very special lady, strong, loving and committed to family, first and foremost. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Family occasions and visits were her favourite time. Time spent together, especially at Wilmot Creek, were filled with lots of love, hugs, kisses, laughs and stories of days gone by. Nana always made sure there was a ton of food and I can still picture her buzzing around the kitchen. Although her baking was the best, I think her spaghetti recipe is still my favourite.🙂 The visits normally included walks by the lake, shuffleboard, swimming or games of UNO. Brett and Aaron always enjoyed their sleepovers at Nana and Papa's. Those were such fun times. Joyce was like a second mother to me for so many years and although we lost touch, I will forever treasure those special memories. I miss her (and Papa). Rest in peace beautiful soul. ❤️
Condolence: Would like to express our deepest sympathies on the loss of your mother/grandmother. My grandmother, Florence Mary Ann (Lee) Taylor was her father's sister. I remember Joyce when she was a teenager and I was at their house with my mom. We were upstairs and I remember her mom yelling at us to not eat any of the candies that were up there before dinner. She also remained close to my Uncle Art Taylor for many years until he passed away and if I am not mistaken, Joyce was his youngest cousin from that side of the family. Am so sorry for your loss. I am sure all of you have lots of fond memories of her, keep them close to your heart. Rest in peace Joyce.
